Wax Melts

What is a Wax Melt?

A wax melt is a scented piece of wax, much like what you’d find in a candle jar- but without the wick!

To fill your home with fragrance, you simply remove any packaging warm up and melt the wax using either an electric burner or a tea light heated burner. Please note the tea light heated burners do tend to give the best hot throw, making the fragrance stronger.

Do not overfill the burner add a little at a time to avoid spilling the hot wax as this could be a fire hazard. Wax melts do not evaporate, they will eventually lose their scent and then the wax should be discarded- but not down the drain!

Do not use your melter for longer than 3 hours and only use standard, unscented tea lights.

Safety Tips & Information

Never leave your oil burner unattended. Whenever there is a naked flame involved there is a risk of fire. Always extinguish the flame before leaving the house, and before going to sleep.

Do not add water to your burner when using melts, and make sure the burner is not placed near drafts but in a well ventilated area.

Always keep out of reach of children and animals.

Do not eat the wax. If eaten seek emergency medical attention immediately.

Hot wax can cause burns to the skin so be very careful and do not transport the oil burner while in use. Ensure your wax has cooled before removing the melting dish and wax.

Coloured wax melts contain dye so avoid contact with fabrics as melted wax may cause staining.

Always check your melting dish is not cracked or chipped and do not use metal or wooden objects to clean wax from the dish.
